Calling all Cosplayers! Do you play an instrument? Sing? Dance? Have a comedy skit? Mime? Firebend? Do you want to have the chance to show PMX what you can do? Registration is now open for this year’s very first Cosplayer’s Got Talent! Competitors will dish out their quirky talents on stage for the chance to win prizes!

Cosplayer’s Got Talent! Will be held on Friday November 9th at 7 pm in LP2 (Los Angeles A&B)

A small panel of judges will discreetly awards points to each Act based upon Showmanship, Creativity, Uniqueness, Technique, Style/Execution and Choreography. Additional Prizes may be awarded later and not listed above. Prizes should be awarded at the end of the competition if time permits it, if not, then it will be announced at a later time during the Convention.

1. Competitors will be limited to a maximum length of 6 minutes for their “Act�.
2. Acts with excessive nudity, offensive language, and/or extreme graphic violence may be disqualified at the CGT Coordinator's discretion.
3. PMX reserves the right to reject any performing act based on our own discretion.
4. All Acts must be submitted with the Cosplayer’s Got Talent Entry Form to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it .
5. Acts may be submitted online and/or sign up at CGT Auditions on Friday November 9th room and time TBA.
6. All Acts submissions MUST attend auditions to be screened and eligible for the competition.
7. All online submissions must be received by November 1st 2012 at 10:00 pm PST. If online submission date is missed and you still wish to compete, you must bring a printed copy of the Cosplayer’s Got Talent Entry Form to the auditions.
8. Only 2 Acts per person/group will be permitted.
9. All Contestants to compete in Cosplayer’s Got Talent! are required to be dressed in Cosplay from an anime/video game/manga to compete. Cosplay is not required for the audition process and will not be judged upon its quality or authenticity. This is a Talent Competition that has a Cosplay Theme for its competitor’s.
10. All music that is to be performed with must be on CD and labeled with Performer’s Name and Song Title. Music must be handed in by Auditions.
11. Singers: Musical accompaniment only, no vocals of any kind are permitted on CD, and no lip-syncing allowed. Lip syncing is only permitted if it’s accompanied by a fabulous drag show.
12. Only props that can be carried on by the performer and that do not require extensive set-up are allowed. Weapon props are only permitted if inspected, approved and peace bonded by Pacific Media Expo Security Staff. No live animals, no matter how insanely adorable they are.
