Much like Wong Fu Productions in spirit, they have been blowing up ever since they started uploading videos onto YouTube about a year ago. http://myspace.com/justkiddingfilms   J-Rock Revolution Panel Saturday, Nov. 8 This will be a panel to showcase and discuss the website JrockRevolution.com, its mission, past accomplishments, goals, and community it inspires. www.jrockrevolution.com/   Robotech: Past Present and Future Saturday, Nov. 8 Tommy Yune, director of Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles, covers the history of the animated series that introduced a generation to anime, and discusses upcoming new releases in the wake of the announcement of the live action feature film.   What's a Dollfie? Panel Saturday, Nov. 8 A discussion panel on Asian Ball-Jointed Dolls, sometimes referred to as "Dollfies." Intended to be a basic overview, but audience participation and/or questions will be encouraged.   The Wild World of Tokusatsu Panel Sunday, Nov. 9 A discussion of the live-action "tokusatsu" genre of TV programs in Japan. The panel will concentrate on the three great franchises: Ultraman, Kamen Rider, and Super Sentai.   Patrick Seitz - Voice Actor Panel Sunday, Nov. 9 Lending his vocal talents to anime and video games such as that of Koi Kaze, Bleach, Valkyria Chronicles, and many more, American voice actor, Patrick Seitz will hold a panel to discuss voice acting, ADR script-adapting and direction, as well as answering audience questions. http://www.patrickseitz.com/ Read more...   Elfdoll BJD Panel Saturday, Nov. 8 This Panel is about the Ball Jointed Doll World by Ms.Cholong/Elfdoll & Darci Gibson. Everybody welcome to play Go, an ancient game of strategy. The rules of the game will be explained and players will be teamed up based on ability.   How to Draw Manga Panel Sunday, Nov. 9 Artists and editors from eigoMANGA's comic book publications RUMBLE PAK and SAKURA PAKK will be on hand to teach the fundamentals of manga illustrations and storytelling. Our publication editors will also be on hand to review artwork portfolios from prospective artists hoping to enter the manga industry. Please note the day change to Sunday. Hosted by two writers of Animation Liberation Magazine (Austin Wright, and Michael Russ), they will discuss a brief history of Korea, from Korean script to Korean music videos and cinema.   Para Para Workshop Sunday, Nov. 9 Want to Para Para? Well, Para Para your way into the Para Para Workshop where Kiwi PROJECT will teach you their routines. Come join the fun, for veterans and newcomers alike.   Aimee Major Steinberger Presents! Sunday, Nov. 9 This panel has been canceled. Animator and pro cosplayer Aimee Major Steinberger and Go! Comi will present inside information about Aimee's current works, including Japan Ai: A tall girl's adventures in Japan, and a major new project, which will be announced at the panel!! Bring Pocky and be prepared for kawaii overload!   Wendy Pini Presents Masque of the Red Death Saturday, Nov. 8 Wendy Pini & manga publisher Go! Comi will host a presentation about Wendy's popular "Masque of the Red Death" comic, a homoerotic, full-color re-envisioning of the classic Edgar Allan Poe story which targets adults ages 18 and up. "Masque" is a sensual, complex story about love, betrayal, and revenge on an epic scale. Bring a fan to cool yourself, as this panel may get a little steamy!   Mecha - Mechanized Propulsion Systems Saturday, Nov. 8 Visions of a Mech future from anime and manga are fantasy no more; Mechas are real. Mechanized Propulsion Systems, Inc., the world's first company dedicated to designing, creating and piloting real, anime-style mecha. The Mecha panel covers MPS’s efforts on this project, examine the state of real-world mech technology and also give you the opportunity to get involved.   Bandai Entertainment Saturday, Nov. 8 2008 has been an amazing year for Bandai Entertainment with titles like Gurren Lagann, Lucky Star, Gundam OO, and CODE GEASS.
