Nom Nom Truck is a female-owned mobile food truck (owners Misa and Jen below!) that serves “Banh Mi”, or Vietnamese Sandwiches, and other Vietnamese-inspired dishes to West Los Angeles and the greater Los Angeles area. Our goal is to make you guys, our Nomsters, happy by serving fresh Vietnamese fare to the masses! Our latest venture is competing on the latest Food Network series known as The Great Food Truck Race, traveling across the US in our truck, competing against 6 other food trucks, and serving as many Nomsters as possible (airs Sunday 9 PST).

Misa Chien: After recently graduating UCLA with a degree in French and Global Studies (yes random I know!), Misa persued her modeling career, shooting campaigns everywhere from Target to Mary Kay. However, despite modeling, Misa found that she had a lot of time on her hands and still longed for something more. Then one beautiful fine day Misa decided to hop on board with the concept of Nom Nom Truck (how could she resist the name?) and the rest is history. Today, the Mom of the Nom Misa Chien co-owns the Nom Nom Truck with one of her best friends, Jennifer Green, the Banh Mi Maestro. Together, Misa and Jen are looking to bring Banh Mi to the masses, and making as many people as possible chant– Nom Nom Nom!
Jennifer Green: Known to all as the Banh Mi Maestro, Jennifer Green is the tastebuds behind Nom Nom-- whipping up nom-worthy items with secret ingredients such as Lemongrass Chicken and Honey Grilled Pork. Jennifer was born and raised in a slow-cooking Vietnamese kitchen in SoCal with her mother and aunts, all implants from the old country who instilled in Jennifer an intense and savory passion for fresh Vietnamese recipes and ingredients. This commitment to thoughtful, well-crafted Vietnamese cuisine can be tasted in every bite of Nom Nom’s extraordinary sandwiches. When she is not thinking banh mi, Jennifer is thinking of Bailey, her cheerful red-haired canine companion (the cutest dog in the world!). Jennifer and Bailey can be found cruising around with the windows down along LA's most nom-worthy beaches. Besides an intense passion for food, Jennifer also loves studying and graduated from UCLA as a double major in biology and English Literature. As co-owner of Nom Nom Truck, Jennifer pledges to make as many people in the world as possible say NOM!
