Dexter actor C.S. Lee and Saw actress Alexandra Bokyun Chun will be coming to Pacific Media Expo 2011 on Sunday, November 13, 2011, to promote their upcoming indie thriller film titled Innocence Blood (to be released in 2012).
November 9, 2011 In addition to C.S. Lee and Alexandra Bokyun Chun, child actor Lance Lim (Jin) will also be in attendance for the Innocence Blood Panel.

Tempo-P and NeutrinoP started Vocalekt Visions in 2011. Since then, Vocalekt Visions started spreading their network to join in team members from all around the world. Together with partners, Vocalekt Visions have gone to different conventions to show Hatsune Miku the software, giving public speeches and hosting live performances using their original Vocaloid/Hatsune Miku music, MMD animations and cosplay team.

Join us Friday night for 3 hours of offbeat and uncensored fun, with a raging pack of veteran voice actors and a cash bar on hand to loosen things up. Members of the voiceover (VO) community will also be in attendance, to watch and mingle and maybe even get involved. Audience participation is encouraged!
Due to mature content and limited seating, adult-verified wristbands will be required from 8pm-10pm, and Roast tickets will be required from 9pm-10pm. There is no additional charge for these events, instead we ask that attendees consider donating to the Roastee's Charity when reserving their Roast tickets online with event ticket registration. The producers and cast of a new musical, Allegiance, starring George Takei, Lea Salonga, and Telly Leung about the World War II Japanese internment experience talk about the project at Pacific Media Expo. Producers Lorenzo Thione and Jay Kuo, along with cast member George Takei and Paul Nakauchi, who plays the patriarch in the production will be at PMX for one day only, Friday, November 11, 2011. George Takei will be present at the Allegiance panel.

Power Rangers' Walter Jones & Steve Cardenas |
Saturday 3:00-4:00 PM in International Ballroom A
Walter Jones is best known for his role as Zack Taylor in the first two seasons of Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers. He has also appeared on such television shows as The Shield, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and NYPD Blue. Recently his voice can be heard in the hit video game Red Dead Redemption.
Steve Cardenas played the role of Rocky, the Red Ranger, following the departure of Austin St. John (Jason from the original cast). Since then, he appeared in Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers: The Movie, Power Rangers Zeo, Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie, and Power Rangers Turbo's "Shift Into Turbo" 3-part premiere episodes.

Pacific Media Expo is pleased to welcome Tsuyoshi Nonaka as our Mecha Designer Guest of Honor. Mr. Nonaka has provided mechanical designs for Mazinkaiser SKL, Shin Mazinger Shōgeki! Z-Hen and DICE.
In addition to his work in animation he has been a devoted toy producer who has been work in the Boy’s Toy Business at Bandai Co. LTD (Japan) for more than 20 years as a toy designer and planner. While working for them he was responsible of creating and designing Heroes and Robots, Vehicles and Weapons for kid’s TV series and turning them into TOYS. Most boys in Japan around the ages of 3-6 at the time loved and cherished his toy creation, but also was inspired, highly encouraged by his cool unique characters – It was a boys dream come to life!

Pacific Media Expo is pleased to welcome writer and director Yasuhiro Imagawa. Mr. Imagawa is known for his work as a director on Giant Robo (1992), Tetsujin 28, Mobile Fighter G Gundam and Shin Mazinger Shogeki! Z-Hen.
Mr. Imagawa also served as a writer on Violinist of Hamelin,Petshop of Horrors,Souten no Ken,Hatenkō Yugi and Berserk. Currently he is working as the writer on the manga series Kousoku Otome no Seikatai (Restrained Maidens'Choir) with artist Yusuyuki Fuji which is being published in Monthly Comic Flapper, a compilation magazine. The first compiled volume will be released in October.
Mr. Imagawa will be participating in an autograph session and a focus panel. This is his first appearance at PMX.

Manga Artist Guest of Honor: Suzumi Atsushi |

Suzumi Atsushi will be at PMX 2011 as our Manga Arist Guest of Honor. Ms. Atsushi is best best known in the US for her works Venus Versus Virus (which was adapted into an anime), Haridama Magic Cram School and Amefurashi: The Rain Goddess. She is currently working on TOKYO RAVENS with Kohei Azano and Uruwashi Kaitou Alice (A lovely phantom thief, Alice) with Romeo Tanaka.
Ms. Atsushi will be participating at PMX in an autograph session and a focus panel.

D will be live and in concert at Pacific Music Live 11 on Friday, Nov. 11 and Saturday, Nov. 12. D will be attending a focus panel, autograph session and more throughout PMX11. The D autograph sessions will occur immediately following their concerts.
D will be performing two concerts at PMX. Part I will be on Friday night and Part II will be on Saturday night. Each night will have a different set list featuring hits from throughout the band's history.
NOTE: ABSOLUTELY NO PHOTOS WILL BE PERMITTED DURING THE CONCERT PERFORMANCES!

Southern California’s Largest Filipino Martial Arts Tournament
Pacific Media Expo (PMX) is proud to announce the return of “Way of the Stick and Blade: Tournament of Filipino Martial Arts” to their line up of events at this year’s expo. This premiere Filipino Martial Arts tournament will be held on Sunday, Nov. 13, 2011 at the Hilton Los Angeles Airport.
Come and witness the highly competitive sport of the Filipino Martial Arts of Esgrima, Kali, and Arnis (sayaws/forms, full contact stick fighting, and padded blade fighting) alongside various other Asian Media such as Anime, J-Pop Concert, Cosplay, Asian Cinema, and Korean Drama to name a few. This is the only place in California… the World where you can see all of these together in one awesome event.
The tournament will be held on Sunday, November 13th, 2011 from 9:30 AM until 5:00 PM

PMX welcomes voice actress Sherry Lynn. Lynn is an LA native who began acting at the age of 19, Sherry began her career on camera. One of her first experiences was working with Robert Zemeckis in his first feature film, I Wanna Hold Your Hand. She then landed a lead in a Norman Lear pilot. The series didn’t make it but she was offered an NBC contract. After a SAG strike she discovered the world of voiceover and never looked back.
Since that time she has starred in a number of cartoon series and can be heard in the animated features The Lorax, Toy Story 1, 2, and 3, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, Up, Ponyo, Wall-E, Cars, Ice Age 2, Horton Hears a Who, Shrek 2, Brother Bear, Finding Nemo,Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, Monsters, Inc., A Bug’s Life, Aladdin,Beauty and the Beast, and Little Mermaid.

We are proud to announce the appearance of actress Cristina Vee at PMX11. Cristina is an actress known for her work in animation and video games.
She has had much success as a voice over actor with leading roles in anime such as Tekken: Blood Vengeance (Alisa), K-ON! (Mio), The Familiar of Zero (Louise), and Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha (Nanoha). She is widely known as the voice of Noel Vermillion, Nu-12, Lambda-11, and Mu-13 in the Blazblue franchise. Other credits include roles in League of Legends (Riven, the Exile), Dynasty Warriors 7 (Lian Shi), Sakura Wars (Anri Yoshino), Rune Factory Frontier(Cinnamon), Ar Tonelico Qoga (Saki, Sarapatra, Filament, Sakia), and Hyperdimension Neptunia (Compa). She is currently directing the voice over for the already popular indie fighter Skullgirls.

PMX is pleased to announce our first Industry Guest for this year: dolldelight and the label's designer, Ms. Cyril Lumboy! Cyril Lumboy is a 22-year-old lolita designer originally based in the Philippines. She is known on the internet as dolldelight and has established that as her own brand. She began sewing three years ago starting with headpieces and eventually moving on to making her own dresses. Her work as a designer is now focused on Wa Lolita as it is the substyle that best allows her to experiment in the art of mixing prints. |
